Two Lao technical network engineers participated in eduroam training at APAN 46 which took place in Auckland, New Zealand from 4 to 9 August 2018.
TEIN eduroam Project 2018 is funded under the "TEIN Work Package 4".
The training did not only focus on techniques and tools for deploying eduroam as the national level and institution level, but also provide the great opportunity for sharing issues and problems from other countries who already have eduroam in place.
Unlike those countries, this is the first time for Lao to join the eduroam training. After gaining theoretical and practical experience, the engineers will soon prepare the national training for three local institutions and in the near future these three Lao institutions will deploy eduroam service as service providers in Laos.
